Autumn/winter 2003/04 is already dribbling into US/Euro stores midsummer and for the next two to three months. <br />This means that in Australia, winter stock arrives in winter; summer in summer. Admittedly, a decade or so ago, before designers focussed more on lightness and layering and 'transeasonal' or 'non seasonal' designs rather than warmforwinter, coolforsummer fashions, this would be far more significant.
